JUNIOR THESIS NO. 6: Icarus
This year's Junior Thesis theme is Greek Mythology: Transformed, with this being the sixth piece of eight in the series. Icarus and his father tried to escape from exile by constructing makeshift wings of wax and feathers. Icarus was a little too enthusiastic and, despite his father's warnings, flew too close to the sun, melting the wax and plunging him to a watery doom. Back in the day, however, they didn't have commercial aircraft to worry about. Ouch.
