Full View, please!

This piece was inspired by a song I played the marimba on in jazz band last week called "Night Train", a piece that conveys a lazy, slow ride on an empty train through the dark night and into the faster-paced morning light. And so it got me thinking, what would one find on a nearly-empty night train? What lingers there that day-travelers never see? I tried to create an awkward moment filled with both mystery, humour, and fantastical awe. I wish it were bigger so you could all see the details (jacket stitching, stray hairs, etc), but oh well. Anyway, enjoy ^_^

Note: just because they're on a train doesn't mean it's from spirited away ;)

Photoshop CS2 + Tablet
Refs used (middle girl is from Fresh Fruits)
Illustrator CS for background composition
Several days completion

Would you mind if I wrote someting based off of this? Don't worry, It is not like I'm some published author. I will give you full credit for the idea of the creatures in the train..and I will add a few of my own. :P I also will not be presenting this piece (the picture above) in my story (though it would be nice if i had your consent)
